Randy's first appearance in an adult film was in 1978 in "Mystique" and went on to be featured in over 1,300 XXX films and videos, with an estimated number of female co-stars of over 2,500.

This is the real Randy West, Adult Video News Hall of Fame guy. Yeah, the guy that got Jenna Jameson started in the adult business in my "Up and Cummers" and "I Love Lesbians" video series ...
... I've been an adult film actor since 1978 and had the good fortune to become a major star in the 80's and 90's. I also got my first shot at acting on camera and found out I had a few skills, which eventually led to some mainstream stuff where I earned my SAG and AFTRA cards. I was originally going to play professional baseball, but got into the hippie movement and grew my hair long, which was not acceptable in pro sports. I later got into the rock and roll scene as a lead singer.
I moved to LA with my then girlfriend Kelly Nichols, who turned me on to World Modeling agency where my adult film and video career really took off. I also did some fashion modeling with the Playboy fashion division and then became the first male to pose fully erect in a Playgirl magazine centerfold (shot by the super-talented photographer, Suze Randall, in 1980). This became somewhat of a scandal but Playgirl won the rights to publish the pictures.
I started producing one of the first pro-am reality video series in 1993 called "Up and Cummers", which had me finding new girls to have real sex on camera without a script or director. They did it with men or women or solo. Fortunately it turned out to be a very successful concept. Through my “Up and Cummers” series, I helped to discover many new adult video starlets, including the incredible Jenna Jameson (Up and Cummers volume 10 and 11 and I Love Lesbians volume 1). As you may know, Jenna Jameson went on to become the biggest adult film star ever and has turned into an incredible business woman. ...

I also filmed and starred in some early scenes with the beautiful Tera Patrick (Up and Cummers volume 73 and 80) and many others who went on to become major adult stars such as Jenna Haze, Belladonna, Raylene, Stacy Valentine, Carmen Luvana, Asia Carerra, Felicia, Kylie Ireland, Leanni Lei, Allysin Chaynes, Dee, April Flowers, Ariana Sage, Dayton Rains, Sunrise Adams, Taylor Rain, Lacey Duval, Shane Tyler and many many more.
I'm retired from the adult business now and it’s all behind me. Guess that's enough blabbing about me for now.
